Actually, I have to say a resounding "no" to your assessment. Because every white person in one way or another at some level or another harbors racist feelings.

And I say that about myself.

My point is, we were all born into and grew up in a racist culture - which remains racist, with just a few adjustments.

It's a matter of degree. All of us white folk still have a lot to learn. I am STILL learning even at age 73 after a lifetime of being anti racist, growing up with white liberal parents who were members of the ACLU, and such.

Racism is in the very cultural air we breathe. That is all the more reason why thoughtful white people need to consider their resistance to racism as a lifelong project.
