Early morning miss...

aha! This deftly illustrates how difficult it can be on the web to identify satire! There are, however, several folks who didn't get it. Tho, thinking of it, maybe their posts were satire, too.

Listen, you don't need to get defensive. I don't think it's a mark of low intellience to miss satire in writers with whom you are not familiar. I had been about to post my own serious take on it (celebrating it, that is) when I saw the label "satire" on the site.

Every once in a while EVERYONE gets taken in when they are dealing with unfamiliar authors. So unless you mark your awareness in your response you cannot expect someone who's never seen your writing before to get what you attempt.

I've long since given up any sense of superiority over people who miss satire...unless they are troglyodyte trolls.
