Another angle to use is to say "Ok, if you want a "Straight Pride Month," you need to get yourselves organized instead of just whining and griping. Gay Pride celebrations exist thanks to a whole lot of very intense, HARD WORK on the part of the people planning, organizing, and making these events happen."

Go ahead. Ge busy. But if you aren't going to do that, you need to STFU with your whining and griping.

NOBODY just handed LGBTQ these moments and events. A whole lot of people worked very hard to make them happen.

If you think "straight pride" is all that important quite beyond the way that straight pride is illustrated in about 99% of the culture we encounter on a daily basis -- every which way you look all the livelong day and into night -- then you need to do the work to make it happen.

But we know it's not all that important to you. If you were in fact persecuted every single day of your life by LGBTQ folks, you'd be angry enough to do the actual work.

But that's not REALLY what you want. You just want to whine about the fact that not everything is about YOU.

Truly -- the LAST thing you want to do is put your heart and soul and even a good deal of your life and livelihood into making these things happen.

No, you are content with complaining.

Sorry, but that is very old and tiresome. Either do the work to make that month/event happen or STFU.
