I can tell you honestly that if I had been there I would have stood up on your behalf. But then I am 73 years old and don't give a bloody F if anyone tries to demean me with that sort of BS.

When you get to this age you've been thru lots and lots and lots of ringers being turned by stupid men (and a few stupid women). There comes a point in life when you've been thru so much crap like that you become immune.

MORE: The rest (including some gentle instruction) is on my own page) ➡️

1/8/2022 Edited to add:

I apparently got interrupted by something that grabbed my attention very strongly, and I felt (as usual with ADHD) that I absolutely HAD to deal with it…and then something interrupted me while I was dealing with that, and…yada yada yada. If I recall correctly, I was intending to publish something relevant I had already written, and now I can’t remember what it was.

Fortunately, when I get interrupted, I usually (well, I have LEARNED to usually) copied & pasted it into a text window to which I intend to return after I’ve dealt with a whole lot of other very exciting ideas. BTW, “exciting” here doesn’t necessarily align with my own commitments, but rather could have inspired me to write a strong rebuttal
