I have easy cheap solution that blocks you from letting temptations get the better of you.

Dump your smart phone in favor of an old fashioned dumb flip phone, whose primary purpose is as a telephone, with the occasional text for when text is absolutely essential. And it WILL BE occasional, because texting on a dumb phone is hard and slow, so you will use it only minimally.

Purchase a minimum monthly rate that gives you enough minutes for phone & text, but offers no data.

See, here’s the advantage of being low income. I can’t afford either the smart phone itself or the data plans. Assuming one can get a “free phone” [there really is no such thing as “free”] when you sign up for service, you still have to pay for the data services.

Without a data plan, the web services won’t work, nor will any apps.

Problem solved. No temptations. More money in your pocket.
