It’s also a good question to ask yourself when deciding to reply to a social media post that has sparked your anger. I find myself responding to fewer and fewer of such posts.

The cost to me of responding is usually not worth whatever benefit there might be to myself or others.

This is how I now survive social media in the time of the coronavirus. There are so much better things to do than speaking to a wall.
