It’s also the responsibility of the stores to coral any stray carts. Maybe there’s a law about it here in WI, cuz I’ve never seen anything like that. They come out with their cart movers & bring 50 or so carts in at a time.

And our cart wranglers right now have to go into sub-zero temps with snow falling & wind blowing. They STILL do it.

Every large parking lot I’ve seen around here also has cart corals spaced regularly between cars so you don’t have to go far to place your cart in a coral, making it much easier for the poor schmuck cart wrangler who’s probably not paid enough.

I see from the overview that big parking lot has ZERO cart corrals. Betcha your state is lax both in writing & enforcing disability laws.

I have a theory about the nasty comments one gets on disability issues that suggest they do something differently, make a tiny easy effort that usually doesn’t cost them a thing.

People who say things like that are people who KNOW they’ve done “the bad thing in question” and are eager to defend themselves. To do so they have to put the responsibility for your situation on YOUR shoulders.

Happens with race & gender issues, too.
