My grandchildren would rather have me around than a booming economy.

The idea that they need jobs more than they need their grandparents is based on a culture where grandparents rarely see their grandchildren and are not much involved with their lives. I’m lucky to live only 3 miles from them. Well actually more than luck. I chose it and made it happen.
