So, I guess he assumed that you wouldn't be able to comprehend that "complex standardized test process." I don't understand how that process could determine that a child who is NOT an ESL student could benefit from an ESL course.

Might want to ask (if you haven't already) just exactly what in that ESL class would be of benefit to him as student in need of speech pathology assistance. I supposed it could be true, but he should have explained exactly how that could be to you.

BTW, about that "book slamming" thing: I guess they are preparing him for life as a black man/person of color who will be treated by law enforcement in an unconscionably racist way all the while that is being denied.
