When black lives truly matter — as in, they get the same treatment from white police, medical professionals, courts, prosecutors, teachers, & other white professionals [too long a list to cover everything] as white people; when black lives are valued in every arena of life, that will be when “all lives matter.”

And not one minute before.

For some reason, white people insist on believing that when someone says “black lives matter,” they mean ONLY black lives matter. But when someone says “blue lives matter,” the category is suppposedly expansive and doesn’t exclude anyone.

When in fact there are a hell of a lot of people in blue and among their families who believe that BLUE lives matter more than any other lives.

Great move with your boss.
