Yes...I know that, of course. But thanks for reminding my readers of that fact. I hate it when reporters add to the stigma of mental illness...while at the same time thinking they are explaining something to "the ignorant." So many many MANY people out there with the very same kinds of diagnoses who wouldn't dream of doing anything even remotely resembling what this young man did.
